How do I transfer ownership of a workspace?

To hand day-to-day control to someone else: an existing Admin invites them (or changes their role) to Admin from Organization settings → Members. Admins have full control — members, settings, billing — so for most purposes, making your successor an Admin is the transfer. Once they're in, they can adjust or remove your access.

For transfers where that doesn't work — the original owner has left and no Admin remains, or the account needs to move to different legal entity — contact us at support@baseten.co from an address associated with the account, and we'll verify and assist.
